Enbridge Gas New Brunswick employees are the proud recipients of the Employee Gold Award given by the United Way in special recognition of employees who contribute in an outstanding way to the campaign.
Enbridge Gas New Brunswick takes part in the local United Way campaign every year in New Brunswick with outstanding employee participation rates. Adding to its employees' generosity, Enbridge Gas New Brunswick matches total donations received from its staff.
Most recently the United Way Centraide recognized Enbridge Gas New Brunswick for its efforts in supporting community development. At the wrap event for the 2011 United Way campaign, Enbridge Gas New Brunswick was honoured as a key player in the campaign’s success. In recognition for its community development initiatives, the United Way campaign co-chair presented Enbridge Gas New Brunswick with the Community Builder Award for supporting community events and local organizations in the communities it serves.

Frontier College
- Frontier College- Enbridge Gas New Brunswick partnered with Frontier College during the 2011/2012 school year where several employees in Fredericton volunteered a minimum 2 hours per month at Nashwaaksis Memorial School. They worked with students to help improve their reading skills.
New Brunswick Food Banks
Employees at Enbridge Gas New Brunswick established the “Feed their Need” program. This is a new initiative in 2012 that targets one food back in one of the utility’s service areas every month to offer a monetary or food donation and/or volunteer resources.
