The 2011/12 Fixed Price Product is now available from Enbridge Gas New Brunswick. The Fixed Price Product offers residential customers the peace of mind of a locked in gas supply charge of $7.90/GJ for one year, from November 1, 2011 to October 31, 2012. It is available to all residential customers who have selected Enbridge Utility Gas (EUG) for their natural gas supply.
Enbridge Gas New Brunswick will continue to offer you the same dependable gas supply. For customers who choose the Fixed Price Product, only three things will change from the standard EUG Terms and Conditions (pdf); the Contract Term (see amended Sections 3.1 and 3.2 below), the Price (see amended Section 4.1(a) below) and Renewal Rights (see added Section 4.3 below).
3.1 The Fixed Price Product will commence on November 1, 2011 and expire on October 31, 2012 (the “Fixed Price Term”). EGNB shall advise you of all available gas supplier options no more than 90 days and no less than 60 days before the expiry of the Fixed Price Term.
3.2 Upon expiry of the Fixed Price Term, the standard EUG Terms and Conditions shall resume applying to your purchase of natural gas from EGNB.
4.1 (a) the fixed price of $7.90/GJ (the “Fixed Rate”) for gas supply;
4.3 EGNB’s obligation to sell you gas at the Fixed Rate shall terminate upon expiry of the Fixed Price Term. These terms and conditions shall not be construed as granting to you any right to purchase gas at the Fixed Rate after the expiry of the Fixed Price Term.
Simply complete the enrollment form (pdf) and mail it back to us. Your completed enrollment form must be received prior to October 1, 2011. The Fixed Price Product will only be available to a limited number of customers who will be accepted on a first come first serve basis.

Here are some answers to frequently asked questions from customers who have already enrolled and customers who have considered enrolling in EGNB’s 2011 – 2012 Fixed Price Program.
The price that you will see on your natural gas bill as the “Gas Supply Charge” from November 1, 2011 through October 31, 2012 will be $7.90 per GJ.

If you are currently buying your gas from another marketer, please ask them about any contractual obligations that you may have before trying to enroll in the Fixed Price Program with EGNB.

No. This price will only be applied to the “Gas Supply Charge” on your bill. The other two components of your bill (the “Monthly Customer Charge” and “Distribution Charge”) will not be affected by the Fixed Price Program.
Yes. The Equalized Payment Plan is available to all residential customers, including anyone enrolled in EGNB’s Fixed Price Program. If your natural gas is not supplied by EGNB (i.e. you have selected another marketer to supply your natural gas), you should consult them before trying to enroll in either of these programs.

Possibly, yes. If you plan to, or have sold your home, please contact EGNB as soon as possible to discuss your options at 1-800-994-2762.
Customers in the Fixed Price Program will automatically be placed back on the regular EUG, standard natural gas pricing on November 1, 2012. EGNB will send you a reminder in August 2012 and advise you of your gas supply options at that time.
The price could increase or decrease as the market price of natural gas fluctuates. EUG price fluctuations are market driven and it’s difficult for EGNB to predict what those market conditions or prices will be over the next year.
