Competitive Energy Services (CES) is an independent customer oriented energy company. CES assists its customers in understanding, managing and securing energy and its related services.
- Managing and assimilating all energy usage data and putting it in a format that is easy to understand for the customer and potential suppliers to its customers
- Recommending usage patterns and in turn developing a load profile that its customers can solicit to its suppliers
- Developing specific tenders and request for proposals (RFPs) for its customers
- Soliciting energy suppliers on behalf of its customers
- Negotiating and recommending suppliers to its customers, including cost benefit analysis based on price, contractual terms, sensitivity analysis of non-price terms, and the supplier's company's standing (reliability, technical support, credit worthiness, etc.)
- Assisting its customers in supplier contract negotiation, making sure that the customer receives the benefits necessary to meet its business obligations
- Energy commodity analysis and negotiation - power (electricity), natural gas, fuel oil (#2 or #6), propane, etc.
- Equipment retrofit management - assisting and managing the retrofit process with suppliers, assuring the customer gets the highest quality equipment upgrade at the best possible price
- Alternate energy projects such as cogeneration via biomass, natural gas, wood, etc.
