Alternate Product Offerings

Subject to Clause 4.1 of the Gas Marketers Regulation, Enbridge Gas New Brunswick (EGNB) is now able to provide the following alternate product offerings:

1. Enbridge Variable Product (“EVP”) – This product is similar to that of other New Brunswick natural gas marketers. It primarily serves commercial customers (EGNB rate classes SGSC, GS, CGS, CLGS-LFO, and CLGS-HFO) and fluctuates each month based on most recent market conditions.

The price of EVP is indexed to NYMEX, with a fixed premium added to recover the cost associated with providing the supply in the New Brunswick market.

2. Enbridge Off-Peak Product (“Off-Peak”) – This product is a variable product, however pricing is lower in summer months (reflected in “premium”) and is available only to customers who consume gas between April 1 and November 30. It is made available following requests from seasonal customers (EGNB rate classes OPS and CLVOPS). As these types of customers only consume natural gas during months when natural gas is in relatively low demand in New Brunswick, commodity pricing should be desirable to these customers.

The price of Off Peak is indexed to NYMEX, with a fixed premium added to recover the cost associated with providing the supply in the New Brunswick market.
