Incentives are determined based on a variety of factors:
- consumption
- equipment
- location
- whether a main extension is required
- estimated payback period
* Sales agreement contracts with customers must be signed and submitted to EGNB no later than May 31, 2012. Customers who are building with or switching to natural gas must have their meters unlocked and must be burning natural gas by December 31, 2012.
Natural gas is up to 50% cheaper than propane and all fuel paid for is used, whereas propane tanks are often replaced before empty.
