Call Before You Dig! To Locate Natural Gas Pipelines

Enbridge Gas New Brunswick is reminding people that they are required by law to call before digging, excavating or landscaping. One phone call will allow us to make sure there are no underground natural gas pipelines in a particular project area.

Enbridge Utility Gas Price Update

Effective May 1^st, 2013, the Enbridge Utility Gas (EUG) price is $8.80 per GJ.

The total cost for May 2013 is $20.47/GJ, for customers in the Small General Service rate class.*

To compare to the alternative energies, the May 2013 monthly cost of natural gas per GJ is equivalent to:

$0.0763 per kWh of Electricity (NB Power Rate is $0.0985)
$0.79 per litre of oil (Natural Resources Canada average is $1.04)
$0.51 per litre of propane (Market average $0.80)
