One of the Best Places to Work in Atlantic Canada 2015
Enbridge Gas New Brunswick is proud to be ranked 12th out of the 31 companies recognized Best Places to work in Atlantic Canada in 2015.
2015 was the ninth year of the annual program, created by Progress magazine and Best Companies Group, which was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best employers in Atlantic Canada, benefiting the region's economy, workforce and businesses.
“We are so proud to be one of the 31 companies recognized,” said Gilles Volpé, general manager, Enbridge Gas New Brunswick. “I’m proud to work for an organization that is made up of a compassionate group of employees who care about one another, our customers and the community.”
Enbridge Gas New Brunswick and other qualified companies from across the region entered the two-part survey process for the determination of the Best Places to Work in Atlantic Canada 2015.
The first part, accounting for 25% of the total evaluation, consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, and demographics. The second part accounted for 75% of the total evaluation and consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.
Enbridge Gas New Brunswick’s Senior Management Team is thankful to all employees who completed the 78-question internal employee survey, which contributed to the ranking. “The participation rate was a solid 96%,” said Volpé. “That level of employee engagement is an accomplishment in itself!”
Enbridge Gas New Brunswick was recognized and honoured at the Best Places to Work in Atlantic Canada awards ceremony coordinated by Progress magazine on Friday, June 5th, 2015 and is profiled in a special publication by Progress magazine in Vol.22 No.04. Ten proud employees travelled to Halifax to hear the announcement of the final rankings at the event.
