Real Family, Real Savings: Meet the Deans!
Enbridge is using a real New Brunswick family to show the difference that natural gas makes.
Meet the Deans!
Trevor and Janet live in a quiet Fredericton neighbourhood with their charming 7-year-old son, Sutter, and their brand new baby girl, Lennon. Trevor works in construction, while Janet works in the real estate industry (when she’s not on maternity leave!) and occasionally blogs about her life as a Mom. Sutter is settling into his role as a great, caring big brother, while Lennon is taking it all in – for now! The Deans are embarking on their own energy adventure, and they’re sharing it with you for one whole year.
“I am so excited for the opportunity Enbridge has given us,” says Janet. “It’s going to be so much fun.”
Enbridge is tracking their costs, savings and experiences as the heating season progresses. Together we’ll learn about the total cost of natural gas, the advantages of natural gas, energy efficiency in the home, safety, and more.
We spent an afternoon at the Dean residence, capturing them in their element with local photographer Rob Blanchard.
“It was a full house but a super fun time,” Janet says. “Sutter didn’t mind getting out of school a little early either!”
How will the Deans fare this winter? How does natural gas address their changing needs throughout the seasons? What awesome surprises does Enbridge have in store? Stay tuned!
