Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act ("PIPEDA"). It governs the commercial relationship between Liberty Utilities ("Liberty Utilities", "we", "us" etc.) and customers who are our customers or potential customers ("you").

At Liberty Utilities, we are committed to providing you with the highest quality of service. Consistent with these objectives we maintain high standards of confidentiality with respect to the personal information in our possession.

Personal information is an information about you and an individual customer or potential customer and is specifically about you (such as your name and address). When you first become a customer or when you need to renew, we need to collect some of your personal information. However, the personal information that we collect from you is only limited.

We ask you to provide us with your personal information for the following purposes:

To provide you with natural gas and related energy services,
and

provide you with information and services. and
to understand your energy needs and preferences and to know about energy services.

If we identify a new purpose for the personal information we have collected from you, we will obtain your consent before using your personal information for the new purpose.

1.3 Consent: Why do we require your permission?

We collect, use or disclose your personal information only with your consent. Your consent may be expressed verbally, electronically, or through your authorized representative. When you use our products and services, we consider them to be your opinion. You can get your consent at any time, subject to legal and regulatory restrictions and reasonable notice.

For marketing, solicitation or any other purpose. We will not use your personal information when you are in the business of business.
For an emergency that threatens life, health or security.
To bill for or collect a debt that you owe or a third party to billing and collection services, or to evaluate your credit worthiness.
To a third party we have to understand your energy needs and preferences.

2.1 Security safeguards and employee awareness

Keeping your personal information confidential and secure is a priority for us. Theft, unauthorized disclosure, copying, and unauthorized use or modification.

Our employees are trained to maintain the security and confidentiality of your personal information.

2.2 Agents and third party service providers

Liberty Utilities contracts with agents, contractors and other third parties for services related to gas distribution, such as billing, call center support, maintenance and repair. From time to time, we may need to share some of your personal information with these third parties. To a limited extent, Liberty Utilities contracts with foreign service providers. These third parties may be required to disclose the information they require in the context of their jurisdiction.

Any third party that we share with the other party is usually not contractual.

3.0 Your Rights

3.1 Accessing your personal information

You have the right to ask for information and information. We will respond to your request for access within 30 days of the request being made.

You could not agree to allow us to obtain your consent at any time. However, by doing so, depending on the situation, you may want to reduce your risk.

If you believe that any of your personal information is inaccurate, you can ask it to correct it. We will respond to your request to make your request.

5.0 Changes to This Privacy Policy

In order to ensure that we will not be able to change the time of the day. Any changes will be effective when posted on the website. Please periodically review the Privacy Policy to ensure you are informed of current practices.

6.0 Visiting the Liberty Utilities Website

A visitor to Liberty Utilities website, www.naturalgasnb.com, is not required to reveal any personal information, such as name, address, or telephone number. Nor is such information collected by electronic means, except as outlined below.

Your personal information is collected when you are fully satisfied with the application of the application, or by means of a survey.

Our website collects information in the form of Internet Protocol ("IP"), and information about which pages are accessed. This information is used to help you understand your understanding of the problem.

Liberty Utilities may have a cookie on your web site. It will not be used to collect any form of personal information.
