Enbridge Gas New Brunswick celebrates Earth Day

FREDERICTON- In honor of Earth Day, Enbridge Gas New Brunswick is organizing a community clean up in the Town of St. George on Thursday, April 22.

Employees from Enbridge Gas New Brunswick are partnering with Environmental Science students from Fundy High School, as well as other members of the community to clean up litter and debris throughout the Town of St. George. Source Atlantic has generously provided supplies, such as garbage bags and work gloves for use during the day.

“At Enbridge Gas New Brunswick we see the importance in supporting a healthy environment in the communities we serve,” said Dave Charleson, general manager of Enbridge Gas New Brunswick. “By initiating events such as this clean up we are taking the small steps needed to reduce our environmental footprint and inspiring the next generation to be mindful of their impact on the environment.”

The clean up will begin at the Civic Center at 10:30 a.m. and will end at approximately 2:30 p.m. If necessary, a rain date has been scheduled for April 29.
