Enbridge Gas New Brunswick helps celebrate Pioneer Days
On Saturday June 26, employees from Enbridge Gas New Brunswick will be in Oromocto celebrating Pioneer Days.
“Oromocto Pioneer Days is a true staple of the community and being a part of an event like this is something that we are proud to participate in,” said Robin Hawkes, marketing and sales manager. “By getting out and being involved in community events like this, our employees are giving back to the communities in which we live and work.”
Enbridge Gas New Brunswick is the title sponsor of the “Concerts in the Bandshell” series and several employees will be on site, volunteering their time, in Sir Douglas Hazen Park, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Jim McDonald is the co-chair of Oromocto Pioneer Days 2010, and says that with the addition of Enbridge Gas New Brunswick as a sponsor it made the festivities better than ever this year.
“We are very pleased that Enbridge Gas has chosen to help Pioneer Days become even better in 2010. Their financial contribution through sponsorship of “Concerts in the Bandshell” has enabled our committee to increase the amount of entertainment for the military families,” he said. “On behalf of the people of Oromocto, thank you Enbridge Gas New Brunswick!”
