Enbridge Gas New Brunswick receives award from United Way
FREDERICTON - Once again, the staff of Enbridge Gas New Brunswick have received the Outstanding Corporate and Employee Campaign Award from the United Way/Centraide Central New Brunswick. This is the sixth consecutive year that employees of Enbridge Gas New Brunswick have received this award.
For the 2009-2010 campaign, the employees of Enbridge Gas New Brunswick successfully raised over $76,700 for local United Way initiatives in Fredericton, Moncton and Saint John.
“We are so appreciative of the support offered by Enbridge Gas New Brunswick,” said Steph Fox, Director of Community Development for United Way/Centraide Central New Brunswick.
Every year Enbridge Gas New Brunswick takes part in local United Way campaigns with outstanding participation rates. In addition to the generosity of employee donations, Enbridge Gas New Brunswick also matches contributions made by staff.
“We are pleased to present Enbridge Gas New Brunswick with the Outstanding Corporate and Employee Campaign Award. They show great leadership in our campaign by being one of the few to offer a corporate match,” said Fox.

Enbridge Gas New Brunswick is regulated by the New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board and has a distribution network that includes approximately 750 kilometers of natural gas pipelines. Enbridge Gas New Brunswick serves over 10,000 customers in nine municipalities in southern New Brunswick.
