Enbridge Gas New Brunswick Sponsors Touchdown Atlantic
Enbridge Gas New Brunswick announced today it is one of the major sponsors of this year’s Scotiabank Touchdown Atlantic events in celebration of sport and culture. The festivities will take place in Moncton, Fredericton and Saint John.
As part of Enbridge Gas New Brunswick’s participation, the utility will host a tri-city festival tour starting tomorrow where the community will have a chance to meet a former CFL great, cheer with Hamilton Tiger-Cats cheerleaders and get a picture with the Grey Cup. There will be food, prizes and a chance to enter a draw for a pair of platinum tickets to the game, as well as autographed CFL merchandise.
Enbridge Gas New Brunswick is also participating in the two-day Lotto Max Street Festival in Moncton leading up to the big game. There will be live music, interactive booths, fun games and prizes for the whole family.
“Moncton has really become this region’s hot spot for entertainment,” said Robin Hawkes, manager of marketing and sales for Enbridge Gas New Brunswick. “It has been a pleasure to work with staff from the City of Moncton and the Touchdown Atlantic Festival Committee on this year’s festival activities.”
On Sept. 25, prior to the big game, as many as 10,000 people are expected to attend the pre-game Enbridge Gas New Brunswick Family BBQ and Molson Tailgate Party in the field behind the Moncton Stadium. Chefs from the Delta Beauséjour will be cooking the food for the BBQ using natural gas grills.
“The event is a celebration meant for people of all ages,” added Hawkes. “There will be loads of activities and lots of excitement.”
