Changing Rate Classes

  • In order to obtain the rates and tariffs associated with a particular rate class, you must meet the consumption requirements, as outlined in the “Rate Schedules” of Enbridge Gas New Brunswick’s Handbook of Rates and Distribution Services.
  • Customer accounts are reviewed annually to ensure the monthly consumption continues to correspond to the rate class to which you have been assigned.
  • You can request a change to the rate class to which you have been assigned by submitting a letter to us, outlining the rationale for the request. The request will be reviewed by our Customer Care Manager and a written decision will be provided to you within 30 days of receiving the request.
  • Any changes to your rate class will occur in the month following the annual review (or written decision) and it will be noted on your next bill.
